Dear Joshua, I am afreid I do not know anything about the mutagenic or teratogenic effect of BromoUracil in mammelien materials. I am fairly sure that no mutagenic effect has ever been reported, but my knowledge of teratogenic effects is extremely limited. The only paper which comes to my mind as having a remote bearing on the question is that by Djordjevic and Szybalski in The Journal of Experimental Medicine 112, p. 509, in which they show that incorporation of the analogues into the DNA of human cells increase< radiation sensitivity. Kind regards, Yours sincerely, hokk ei eee ree, C. Auerbech. 7 11 4} ay “oD
