I shall be at the Center for Behavioral Sciences
from August 12 to September 3. I hope you will be there
sometime during those three weeks, because I'd like to talk
with you about the origin of life and about citation indexes.

I want to know of any developments you can report
along the lines of simple code-carrying polymers. I also
want to know more about your objections to my own hypothesis.
If you think my system could not accumulate information, or
would not provide for reproduction of mutations, I hope to
show you how it can do both of these things. Since NIH will
not support my experiments, I am planning to use my sabbatical

a year from now to get something started.
