carrying, and I want you to postpone the study of my experimental
proposal until you have time to think it through carefully. But
in case you are just on the point of doing it, I wanted you to
know that on about June 6 I shall have to finalize my plans for
the next two years. If you can get a considered appraisal to me
by then, it will be helpful. If that date is too close for
comfort, just ignore this note,
