UNITED STATES ty ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION WASHINGTON 25, D.C. IN REPLY REFER TO: BMB: MRZ October 1, 1957 Dr. J. Le Lederberg University of Wisconsin Madison, Wisconsin Dear Josh: I am sorry to be so indefinite as to address, but I do not know your current correct address. I presume you have already moved to your new position. The purpose of the present letter is to inquire whether it would be possible to visit with you for an hour or so on October 15, when I plan to be in Madison. As you may not have known, I am back at the AEC for at least another year in the same position as geneticist which I held in 1950-51. I hope that it will be possible to see you on the 15th, since that will be the only day it will be possible for me to be in Madison, but please do not change any plans you may have made previously. I shall be interested in learning about your new setup. Please greet Esther for me. Sincerely yours, Max R. Geneticist, Biology Branch Division of Blology and Medicine
