\ December 3, 1949. Dr. UM. R. Zelle, Bacteriology Lab., Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y. Dear Max- Enclosed is a fresh isolate of H-206. It is a pool of two colonies on EMS Lac which concurrently gave Lacy on EB Lac. It has not been rechecked, especially on maltose; I will do s0 promptly. However, it should be immediately useful, although 1t will have segregated to a large extent on this medium (outrient agar) by the time you get it. I hope I can remember to bring along a couple of slides showing the huclear cytology of H-168. It 4s complex enough to adult readily of the many~nucleus interpretation of the pedigrees. See you in NY. Till then, Joshua Lederberg
