Oct. 29, 48 Dear Lederberg, Excuse the scrawl but felt I must get off a letter. Time has flown by and I am afraid this won't reach you before you leave for New Haven. I won't be able to get down to New York to see you next week. However, if it appeared desirable of to we actually get going. I could very likely emerge to some to Madison. The labs won't be completed for at least two weeks, but we're hoping to be in them about that time. In the meantime, I would appreciate any information re media etc. I will need so that I can begin accumulating the required materials. Ithaca has recently obtained airmail service so it should be possible to rapidly ship cultures between us. Best wishes M. R. Zelle
