Dear Mr, Miller,

Your letter of the llth was not unexpected, as I had just been informed
by the Hartford Office of the Veterans Admingstration that my claim for
benefits was not to be allowad, Although I as still purawing the matter,
I shall endeavour to make payment to Yale University a9 soon as I can
accumulate the necessary funds. T expect to send a shack for the full
amount due (4707,00) in three or four weeks if that will be sétisfactory.
