Dear Luria:

I do -, feel that it is a proper thing for
geneticists to be concerned with the future of
Cold “pring Harbor and to indicate our interest to
Haskins. I believe a zood method would be the one
suggested by you, namely to write a joint letter
to Haskins and suggest that he call together som
advisory group.

Such a letter should be phrased carefully,
Since Haskins possibly has himseif decided on an
advisory group or has had advice, At present, we
should stress our interest rather than cur concern.
