Dear Josh,
I started running 58-161 at an input concentration of 10 mg/l of methimine and some biotin. It was inoculated on pm of 4/22/53 and was plated 4/23/53 at dilution of 104. Density is about 2 x 106. I am sending you a plate from yesterday's plating as representative of the starting population.
I'll continue to send you plates from time to time as it is easier then mailing 10 slants. I'll send them about every 4 or 5 days.
Oh yes, generation time is about 2 hrs.
