Dear Esther and Josh
Forgive me not to have sent you already the strains I had promised when I was in Madison, but we were very busy until now with visitors coming from various congresses in Europe and we are just starting again our cultures now--As I told you we have an Y10 and a W-705 sensitive (LP2S) but unfortunately no W-667 LP2S.  Elie, who is in charge of these strains will send them very soon.
I had a very good end of journey in the States and came back in France at the beginning of August.  I especially enjoyed these two days with you in Madison, and forced them too short for my taste.  I hope to have soon a new occasion to meet you in any side of the Ocean.  Jacques got finally his visa and will probably go to the States in January.
