Dear Seymour-~

This is the first chance I've had to thank you for sending “e
the Vanlobacter. It arrived in somewhat "natural" condition, ies,
mixed with a fast growing motile rod, b:t just before leaving Madison,
I think I got it out, partly with help of single cell isolation.
I'll let you know of anythin: further. In ry firct looks, I could not
make out the stalks on living cells except when the cells were tilted
for an oblicue view.
