Dear Dr. iicNeil:

I am enclosing a letter I received from Dr. Lederberg together
with my reply. You will note that he is asking for some of the
strains of S, pullorum which we found to be maltose-~positive variants.
I hope that you do have some of these which you can send to him.

You will note also that I am sending the reprint, which I believe
is by Taylor and myself, for which he asked. If you have others

in which you think he might be interested and have not sent them on
to him, you might send them also.
