kind letter. A few reprints of our papers on polysaccharide
formation -- unfortunately the only ones in supply -- are
enclosed; I will be very happy to send you any publications
in the future,

Your approach to the BE. coli amylomaltase problem sounds
very promising. We have been interested in certain chemical
aspects of the reaction but have not had a suitable strain to
work with. If you could send me a transplant of an amylomaltase-
active strain, I would be very grateful to you.
