I will try, at the risk of being brusque, to get us under way with the
Aronson project as indicated in the enclosure. The proviso (3) is for

our mutual protection: needless to say I intend to follow your own wishes
precisely in any disposition. I hope ft && acceptable to Indiana Press;

if so, you should soon hear directly from Aronson. (If the funds came into
my hands I might be liable for substantial income tax.)

Let us hope the matter is not purely academic. The proceeds may run closer
to $1 thousand than 10. But you never knov.

About the "Indian" edition, I can hardly comment at this point. Perhaps
you could use the "indiana" version as a basis, for I intend to put in some
scientific annotation there. But I dare not take on any further commitment
at this pointtand I would prefer to finish one job well, first.

Yes, Cavalli is here for the academic year (interrupted by a month with
Central African pygmies.) I am sure he will be sympathetic with the sampling
problems you mention and I will ask him to pass on any ideas he might have.
Anyhow, he will be back at Pavia in the fall.
