I have had the great plesaure of meeting your brother—in-law
P. Gambar during his visigstto Madison last Saturday. During his con-
versation, he referred to some of your studies with Enterobacteriacese
that I had unfortunately overldoked. I would be most grateful to you

if you could help me repair this defect by providing an exchange of
reprints.

[I must confess that I had formerly confused P. and @. Grabar,
and may have addressed reprints intended primarily for you to him.
In future, I will endeavour to be more precise].

The papers in which I would be especially interested concern
the use of the check egg for studies of infection and serum protection
(Ann. Inst. Pasteur 81: 528, and whatever may have Sppeared since)
and studies on the separation of antigenic components of Salmonella.
