Dear Cy:

What (if anything ) has been published on the mieroscopy of tim phage
chromosomes? We might like to take a crack at looking for tm bacterial
fragment in transducing phages. [I've been spending most of mgrtime lately
on microscépy of a different order, single cell isclations of the priaary
zygotes in K~12. The results go Par are again very strongly in favor of
the completeness of the primary hybrid, elimination of some segmnts occuring
afterwards. But a3 was long suspected, there 13 not a full cell fusion or
copulation, but only a conjugation with, presusably, the exchange of one
nucleus.] = Will pou be on campus during your summer biological symposiun?
