Dear Dr. Lederberg,

Perhaps have you heard of the premature death of the
regretted Prof. A.Gratia under the direction of which I worked.
I am a candidate to the vacancy he left at the University of
Liege. AS you were kind enough to show some interest to my work,
may I ask some words of appreciation that I could join to
Support my candidature and which will certwinly be very useful.
Kindly find herewith enclosed a list of my publications.

I thank you for your letter dated October 30 and am waiting
for the strains. I apologise for the troubles 4 am giving and
thank you very much.
