Dear Sir:
I am inquiring in regards to your request for a girl to do lab work this autumn. Has that position been filled?
I am a graduate student in zoology during the regular term. Assisted in zoology last year, but would like a job which requires no homework so I can spend more time on my research and my own coursework.
I'm coloured. Seemingly, this has made me ineligible for many jobs I have sought thus far this summer.
