Dear Lederberg:

As you requested, I am sending you as many reprints of my
Drosophila papers as are still available,

I agree with you that it would be interesting and important to
have data on the location of genes in the salivary-glend chromosomes,
but I doubt very much that at present anyone is interested in doing
this tedious work, Muller's group is working on problems in which
material for identification of genes should be available; and they
might have new data on this problem,
