it does not seem to dfivance the problem very significantly.

Io wonder if you huve ever hud b ougnt to your atiention a
paper by <Xasarnowsky (Zeitschr. Hygiene 105:504-8 1926 'Vur Frage
des d'Herelle-Phdnonens) in which a gase of apparent transformation
m2xm resistance cf a sensitive coll is described. The experiments
were not well conceived, but the results are highly sugyestive.
