Dear Josh:

Sheldon says that you will be in Baltimore the
middle of June and could be persuaded to come to Bethesda
either preceding, or following the meetings at Johns Hopkins.

I have tried to get funds to defray your travel and per diem,
but this is a poor time of year (end of the fiscal year) to

do this. We would like to have you come and give an NCI

staff lecture sometime during the Fall of 1956, at a convenient
time for you.

Unfortunately I will be out of Washington from

June 15, until after July 4, but am still hoping to talk with
you on some occasion.
