I need not tell you how much I enjoyed my visit to Madison . . . . .
Since that time I had some tough time at the Oberlin meeting (where I raised some stormy [ . . . ] with the issue of target concepts), at the Cancer Congress (never hold an international convention in your own town!); finally, I was so tired that I gave up this Radiological congress in London, and stood quietly in my lab.
At present, almost everyone is out in the country, and it is a bad time for my detective work within the Institut Pasteur.
