SuBJect: Arms Control course

Here is an outline of a two-quarter course that several of us are
putting together for 1970-71. We have had a number of discussions and
as you will see have listed you for one or more lectures in this course.

#E- Could I arrange to talk to you about this? May I assure you that in
putting your name down there is no presumption that you are to do some-
thing without your consent. We simply felt that you would be the best
persons for the lectures within the Stanford community.

The people who are associated in planning the course are John
Barton (Law), Dick Brody (Political Science), Tom Ehrlich (Law),
Wolfgang Panofsky (SLAC), Peter Paret (History) and Allen Peterson
(Electrical Engineering).
