Dear Dr Brink:
Mr. Lederberg asked me to drop you a line to ask whether it would be possible to get back the manuscript of his on Problems in Genetics of Microorganisms. It is his only copy and he needs it for revision if your are through with it he would appreciate its return
Incidentally, Lederberg is anxious to complete his plans for the coming year. I hope that you and your group will soon be able to come to some conclusion in his case. Personally, I hope he will be very seriously considered, for the reasons I wrote you earlier.
