Our personnel problem has beceme more complicated since I first
wrote you. Huy D. Qwen, whe is on leave on a Gosney Fellowship at
Cal Tech this year, hes accepted an assoolate professorship on the
staff there. Owen had been in chorge of our elementary teaching, and
his going creates @ gap in our ranks which ve sust fill ty fall if at
all poseidle. It is et411 qur intention, however, to seek a man in
the field of miareorganions.

T am leaving today te plant some uurseries in the vicinity of
Green Bay. If we have a fair break on the weather, I should de back
