His small laboratory has been very nicely constructed and equipped, ana his little crowd, consisting of one yreduate assistent, L.ts wife who is a candidate for the Ph. D., and one student helper, are very busily at work. From his conversation with L., WW gets a most favoreble impres- sion that he is maturing rapidly, that he is not nearly so cocky as he was a year ago, and that he is turning out some first-rate work.
