After some abortive efforts that fuiled
just short of a delivery, I decided that
our work was no longer yuite ripe for
ACR, having just turned into new, rapidly
moving phases (cf. JACS May 21); what I
KRNEN have written for ACR has gotten so out
of hand that I thought it better for a book
which I am polishing up this summer for

from now to consult you again about writing
in ACK when the present wave has run its

course?

Chis would emphasize the computér-

intelligence applications, rather than the
backgrceund graph theory that you can see
in the enclosed reprint (which has been in
press for a couple of years.)
