May I reopen the question of finding a more
reliable, if less conspicuous, place for my
column than the Sunday Punch section? I be-
lieve I do have a sufficient following among
your readers to justify a regular place; but
I don't have to tell you. that sporadic and
unpredictable appearance is no way to build
and maintain it.

The Washington Post has run every piece
without exception now for a couple of years,
and I do not think to their great disadvan-
tage.

Anyhow, as you were kind enougi» to express
your appreciation, I enclose some items that
failed to appear in the Chronicle.
