Dear Josh:

I am enclosing the material we discussed, in part,
ie, I find I have only one copy of my paper and am sending you
the section dealing with gene action. I am also enclosing a
copy of a similar section of Horowitz's paper that is to appear
this spring in one of the Annual Reviews.

I asked Dr. Sinnott about a lead article in Science
and he feels sure that it will be possible. At his suggestion
I am writing Bently Glass who, as you know, is the genetics
editor for Science,

Next week I hope to draw up an outline of what I
would like to propose for this paper and will send this along
for your comments.
