I'd like to have back just the pages with
my,notes, plus your final version of the
text, to write the introduction.

My general policy on remuneration is a
"most-favored-nation" approach, but I'm
a little puzzled how to apply it here.

For the work of reviewing plus writing the
introduction my fee to a publisher would be
$500 for the primary publicatjion, plus the
same for secondary (reissues, paperbacks
etc.) In this case I would also settle
for 5% of the net royalties, wkie If you
think I have added more or less to the
value of the product, suggest an alterna-
tive figure.
