Dear Sir, Mr. Gofman, from Lawrence Radiation Laboratory, has sent me his Testimony before the select committee on nuclear electricity Generation, Pennsylvania State Senate. In this paper he quotes an article of yours in the Washington Post from July 19th, 1970. We should be very grateful to you if you could send us a copy of this article or of the Testimony on which it is based or any other matcrial concerning the effects of radiation on genetic and chromosomal disease. We need desperately as much resliable material as possible for our fight against the erecticgyn of the "biggest nuclear power plant of the World" near our town (pop. 600.000), only twenty miles from it. We have founde:i an action’ committee against these plans, but find it défficult to get material quick enough against polticians and indust ry to inform people about the hazards of it. Yours sincerely, LL (O2 It
