Water Safety research

 

Dear Congressman Vanik--

I was most interested to note these
nemarks in the xecord for Oct. 5, which
closely match many of my own concerns. I
ehclose two articles on the subject that
appeared some somths ago.

I do not know the current outlook for
research on water supply safety (in contrast
to the billions that will go into sewage
treatment); in fact, I would be grateful
if you could get a reading on how this will
go under the reorganization leading to the
formation of EPA.
