RESOLUTION

Resolved, That it is the sense of the House of Representatives that the
President of the United States should resubmit the Geneva Protocol of 1925
panning the first-use of gas and bacteriological warfare to the United States
Senate for ratification; and be it further

Resolved, That it is the sense of the House of Representatives that
resubmission of the Geneva Protocol would provide an opportunity for a
comprehensive review of United States' policies in the fields of chemical
and biological warfare; and be it further

Resolved, That it is the sense of the House of Representatives that
ratification of the Protocol would constitute a clear and unequivocal

reaffirmation of the United States! traditional policy of no first-use of

gas and bacteriological warfare.
