I do not agree with the vehemence of
Ardrey's predestinationism, which seems to
overlook the uniquely human superstructure
that overrides (what we cannot deny is there)
the reptilian core of the brain.

But I think he is right in cautioning about
the possible side-effects of "instant wisdom"
in efforts to achieve one-shot solutions to
deep=seated problems.
