Several articles by you which appeared in the Washington Post,
dated Saturday, Jamuary 27, 1968, Saturday, May 18, 1968 and
Saturday, May 25, 1968, have been called to my attention by
Don Litton, Vice President of Wm. T. Thompson Company.

On behalf of the East Coast Healthfood Organization, of which

I am an officer and the American Dietary Retailers Association,

of which I am past Secretary, I wish to commend you for your
outspoken thoughts on the subject of malnutrition and nutrition
in general in these United Sates. We, the Health Food Industry,
have been shouting for many years that the American diet is not
conducive to optimum health and that a possibility of malnutrition
not only exists but becomes normal with the standard American diet.
You are doing a wonderful job in educating the people who need
educating and I only hope your articles are read thoroughly,
digested thoroughly and acted upon thoroughly.
