Dear Dr. Lederberg,
Would you please, please read my letter? Surely you can see more and more that we are all God's creatures together. Man is certainly not made a better creature by using animals any way he chooses simply because they are at his mercy. Can you accept or even think about the fact that the profession of medicine is doing some terrible things to our world? It does not seem to be aimed at helping man any more but aimed much more toward self glory. Some humane research is necessary but the way animals are used is evil. Won't you please help correct this?
