Dear Seymour:
I must apologize for forgetting to write you of the shift in our travel plans.  Put it down to our anxiety about the weather and driving conditions that led us change our itinerary.
Thanks for the map (which I hope we will have some occasion to use sometime), and for the ms.  I hope to get down to this at my first opportunity, but can't promise how soon this will be.  I have about half a dozen other papers to read or write first, but am looking forward to this one.
