Dear Eppie: Your encyclopedia Sounds like a tremendous and very useful undertaking! But besides this "reference book," why don't you write your own handbook of living -- something a person could read from cover to cover; that outlines the philosophy you use in problem-solving; and with chapters from birth to death illustrated by your experience on the column   What to do with conflicting advice could be the most interesting.
I hope you accept some references for further reading.
