I did talk to Dr. Press about cancer trends etc. He felt as I do that a national conference sponsored by NCI/Panel/Board is the best approach. If that doesn't work out, Frank would consider asking the President to mount a full scale presidential commission. I will discuss this with NCI next week, and may come back to you about possibility of finding support (in part) from industry.
