Dear Bill:
Has this been lost in the mail? Or is the ball in the wrong court? At any rate I have not received the letter that I could use to start the ball rolling here. It is problematical whether I can convince the chowder and marching group in full quorum now before September.
Good news: I called Ken Melman [?]: he is very enthusiastic about the idea, which certainly heartens me. And he will be able to put some time in if asked.
I will be in Palo Alto for some weeks this summer and could use some of that time to good effort to consult with Ken.
