Dear Dr. Lederberg:

We have received your check in the amount of $ 171.00 in
payment of your 1979-80 membership assessment, and I would
like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued
support.

As I have mentioned several times in the past, we are most
grateful to all of our chief executive officers for your
financial support. Even more importantly however, we are
indebted to you for the time and efforts which you and your
staff continue to lend to our Commission's activities.

On behalf of myself and the rest of the staff, I would like
