Dear Doctor Lederberg:

It would be a pleasure to meet with you, et al, to talk
about occupational health! I will arrive in New York
City late in the afternoon of Tuesday, October 7, and
will see old Stanford friends that evening. The Inde-
pendent Sector Board meeting which I am attending starts
at 10 A.M. on October 8. Would there be any chance for
a breakfast meeting, cup of tea, or any other similar
arrangement earlier in the morning of October 8? I'm
usually in full bloom by 7:30 A.M. and could meet any
time from then on. If not, my meeting (at the Warwick
Hotel) will be over at 4 P. M. There might be a few
moments before my plane leaves, I suspect they might be
too fleeting.

Thanks for your notes and continued interest. I hope
we can exchange ideas soon!
