(HIV) AIDS virus in lung cells?
Has anyone looked into this?
You and Gallo are handy for a collaboration.
We may have to face the possibility of aerosol transmission from AIDS-patients who have concurrent bronchitis, pneumonia.
You could certainly get at the most concentrated potential sources . . . and if you ever get a positive reading, then track the attenuation up the bronchial tree.
Conversely, why doubt that HIV could be instilled into a lung? Or can you give some rationale on that point?
