I very much enjoyed our luncheon conversation the other day and was
delighted that you could visit the University. I was also glad to hear that
you and Janet might be able to join us on June 3 for our evening dinner pro-
gram and on June 10 for the meeting of the Rockefeller University Council,

Our June 3 evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with a brief reception in Abby
Aldrich Rockefeller Hall and concludes at 9:30 p.m. Following dinner one of
my senior colleagues will join me in discussing highlights of the University's
research accomplishments. We can promise you an interesting and stimulating

occasion with ample Opportunity in an informal Setting for discussion and
questions.

I have also enclosed a preliminary agenda for. the meeting of the
Rockefeller University Council on June 10. We would be delighted to have both
of you join us on this occasion also,

I thought you would enjoy reading the issues of Research Profiles that
discuss work underway in a number of our laboratory groups. I have also added
