Unless you've heard more than you want to know, I suggest the science and technology of DNA splicing ("recombinant DNA") as the topic. I may be able to add more of the historical framework of its development than has been written about and read widely in the press. If you wish to suggest any alternatives, I'd be happy to discuss it.
