Some history of Neurospora
Dear Carl --
I am trying to pin down some documentation on the precise dates of various events. Have you kept correspondence files back to your days at Cal Tech before 1941?
1) In particular do you have any copies of letters or notes to Ed Tatum or George Beadle dating to 1941 or earlier?
2) Do you know the precise dates, hopefully to month and year, when you supplied the strains mentioned in the 1941 paper?
3) Lost in my files are many old reprints; do you have a bibliography of your writings on Neurospora?
