It is wonderful to share such good news!
But what a preposterously long time it took.

I know you will understand when I say
whet a relief amd gratification this is to
me from a strictly introverted pektsonel
standpoint. 1958 zcde no sense at all be-
fore 1969. Maybe I can honestly begin to
enjoy it now; the student the better when

the teacher has been homored too.

It has been too long since seeing you.
