While I was visiting at the H.U. Library, I
noticed a collection of autographed volumes,
including Les Prix Nobel.

It would flatter me to be ablen to enter my
own contribution along these lines; and I have
therefore sent an incribed copy of LPN 1958
for this purpose.

The inscription is from Inferno (26) which
goes "Considerate la vostra semenza...."
which I hope you will understand as helping
to justify the acceptance of this gift.
