Dear Professor Lederberg,

Further to my letter of 28 November I am writing to inform you that
Dr Candau has decided that the report on the health effects of CBW should
be published with the minimum possible delay. We are doing our beat to
ensure that the English printed version at least will appear by the time the
WHO Executive Board meeting starts on 20 January.

Under these circumstances I mst ask you to let me have any comments
you wish to make within the next ten days, otherwise they will be too late
to be incorporated in the final printed version.

I realise that this gives you very little time, but Dr Candau considers
the report of such importance that he wishes it to appear as a printed
publication at the earliest possible moment.
