I have now resumed routine activities as professor of applied
microbiology on the old campus of University of Tokyo after about
six months' trip overseas. ©

I really appreciate the heart-warming treatment accorded by.
you while I was visiting your place during my trip.

I should have written you earlier informing my safe return
from the world trip but various work which had been awaiting my
return at the university kept me busy and gave me little time to
write letters in English which as you will assume is a very hard
job for me.

As soon as I settle down to work I would like to keep myself
in contact with you so that data useful to you and me may be
exchanged from time to time.
